The lowdown: Søstrene Grene’s new spring 2017 interiors collection

This Thursday* will see Søstrene Grene launch its latest interiors collection and it is my firm belief that it should be unveiled to a chorus of Maurice Chevalier’s ‘i love Paris in the springtime’.

Described as ‘a taste of Parisian decadence and Scandinavian minimalism’, the sisters Anna and Clara have offered up a collection that is fresh and modern but with a nod to the traditional, and full of the joys of spring. It includes beautiful fabric & velour pouffes (yes, please), a collection of Moroccan-inspired rugs that is sure to end my own epic rug search, lighting, decorative shelving and trolley tables that you don’t have to break the bank to be able to afford. They also have what you’ve come to expect from them, fabulous servingware, vases and candle holders and great kitchen utensils, all at the amazingly reasonable prices.

To be honest, I’d buy the whole lot but neither the available space at home nor him indoors will allow for it. So, if I was forced to chose, I would say that these are my top 5 picks of the new collection.

Table lamp, available in for colours, mint green pictured (€21.98 per item)

Floral print cushion (€10.98)

Moroccan-inspired rug, available in three colour variations (€41.77 per item, 135 x 190cm)

sostrenegrene_springcollection2017_decoration-bowl-2Bowl, available in four different designs (€2.80 per item)
