The weekly glaze: Cutting the mustard

This time of year is the time for yellow. Daffodils, Easter chicks and glimpses of spring sunshine, it’s bright and chipper and instantly puts you in a good mood. But while I can tolerate and enjoy the odd splashes of cheerfulness every once in a while, as a long-term colour to live with I prefer yellow in its more subdued form; mustard.

And for me, mustard comes with serious retro vibes, particularly when you lay your eyes on this 60s & 70s inspired sofa from BoConcept. Keep it clean with a soft white or grey backdrop and let it be the standout. With elegant accessories to add both style and function, a kitsch result will never be a possibility, instead you’ll have created some groovy Retro Glamour!
